Unfortunately, all face to face classes are currently on hold (will hopefully return very soon) BUT....... who would have thought I would be teaching via Zoom and it could be so much fun?


My Healthy Cooking Skills Courses are perfect for young people who would like to brush up on their cookery skills and learn all about healthy eating. Great for young people off to uni, moving into their new flat or this activity may count towards your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skills Section, please check with your D of E Leader for applicability before booking. Courses are available online via Zoom, face to face in the Cook with Steph Kitchen or to buy and cook at home (coming soon).

My online cookery course for younger chefs aged 6-10 years has just finished, aimed at having fun in the kitchen with a range of simple ingredients, perfect for a home learning activity and designed for children to spend some quality time with their parents or guardians, the next one is starting after Easter.

Wednesday 7th April 11am.

Steph's Top Tip ...Have all the ingredients weighed out before you start.

Easter rocky road 

  • 1 x 296g bag Cadbury mini eggs or use up left over chocolate, eggs, Smarties, M & M's, chocolate coated peanuts or your fav sweets

  • 200g dark chocolate

  • 200g milk chocolate

  • 100g butter

  • 50g golden syrup

  • 100g raisins

  • 150g rich tea or digestive biscuits

  • 50g mixed seeds like pumpkin, sunflower, sesame etc.

  • 50g nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, cashews, macadamia (optional)

You can also use mini marshmallow, smarties, other mini eggs

Equipment: 20cm square cake tin or slightly larger lined with greaseproof paper, a heatproof bowl that fits over a small saucepan, mixing bowl, wooden spoon, a plastic bag to crush biscuits, rolling pin to bash, spatula.

My cooking clubs run over the school holidays, after school and at the weekends. Your child will have great fun learning to cook new dishes, making friends while improving their practical skills and independence in the kitchen. Keep an eye on events coming up
